In which organ is the soul located?

Descartes believed it was the pineal gland — epiphysis cerebri. He called it the principal seat of the soul. In theosophy, it's considered the third eye.

Most people probably wouldn't associate the soul with any organ at all.

Uh, there's no... scientific consensus about that. They can't really decide what a soul is or if it exists, let alone where to locate it in the body.

[Lichtenstein is reading a book while he listens and answers without lifting his head.]

The soul is not in any one organ. It does not have any physical aspect, thus cannot be found 'located' in the material world. It has a connection to a person's mind, where it will be found strongest, but not exclusively. It can be stretched and wander free of the material body it is linked to. Usually, however, it sticks... around and within a person's body on another plane.
